In other words, I trust them and they work!

💥Here you go!
#1 Blog About the Questions They Ask
Focusing your content strategy around questions your customers are asking is an excellent place to start. By doing so, you’re seen as a valuable resource and go-to leader. They know you’re listening and that you’re in tune with their needs. This certainly builds trust.
Create a brainstorming doc highlighting all the questions you’ve ever been asked in your business. Pull up emails, check social media threads, take a look at your CRM history. After you categorize your questions, start creating blogs, videos, and other content around them.
This is an easy way to get great content on your platforms.
#2 How to Solve a Problem
What are people’s biggest challenges? Blog about them! Bring awareness around these challenges (again, showing that you know your audience) and then highlight how they can overcome them.
We want to be the go-to solution provider in the game! Sharing free content that shows our people how to resolve their problems is one of the best ways to make an impact and stand out from the crowd.
So, begin creating more content that helps your people conquer a problem. They’ll love you for it!
#3 An Action-Pack DIY Piece
Oooh, this is a good one! A step-by-step article that shows your reader how to achieve a specific goal is incredibly valuable.
Let’s say you’re a financial coach and your sweet spot is showing millennials how to invest wisely today to support their biggest dreams tomorrow. An actionable blog post idea can demonstrate how your readers can save their first $1,000 for investing, taking into account the lifestyle of today’s millennial.
The key is guiding your reader to the outcome, helping your people achieve true results with your content.
#4 Seasonal, Holiday, or Celebration Posts
These articles are fun and they’re a great way to break away from the monotony of the usual topics.
When crafting a holiday or celebratory post, be sure it always ties to your brand message. This especially works well when your business is known to support a non-profit or if the observance speaks to your story.
For example, April is Autistic Awareness Month. If one of the reasons for starting your business is because you wanted the full-time flexibility to care for your special needs child, creating content that speaks to this is spot on and aligns.
You will be amazed at the connections this type of content creates. It’s truly amazing.
#5 Shout Out Your Favorite Tools
What are the tools you use on the daily to be productive or successful in your space? Shout them out individually or collectively (individual posts allow you to go deep though😉).
Share why they’re so beneficial, the cons, how to get the best use out of them, and any other important details you believe would be useful for your reader.
Finally, if your favorite tool has an affiliate program (meaning, you get paid if someone decides to purchase that tool from your unique link), consider applying for it. Most of them are free and it’s an excellent way to create additional income for spreading a good word.
#6 Check Out People Also Ask on Google
Ha, this is one of my favorite ways to get blog post ideas! In fact, I created an entire video for you on how to use Google Search to come up with a wealth of content ideas:
Let’s use the financial coach example again. If this entrepreneur was looking for more ideas on what millennials are asking/searching for in Google, she may type in the keyword “how to save for investing.”
In most Google searches, a section will appear called People Also Ask.
Google is letting us know that people are also interested in these questions…questions you should be blogging about.
And the beauty is, as we keep clicking on the questions in that section, more will populate, giving us an endless supply of content ideas!
#7 A Blog Roundup
We can go in many directions with this idea. One choice is to create a list of favorite blogs on a specific topic (let’s say, the Best Blogs for Millenials On Investing), highlighting why these blogs are valuable and what readers can gain from them.
Another one is giving a shout-out to influencers in your space; why are they so impactful, what you’ve personally learned from them, and the best way to connect.
This idea is powerful because you can reach out to that influencer letting them know you’re featuring them on your blog/to your audience.
Connections and collaboration are at play!
Finally, if you’ve created enough content, why not showcase your high-performing blogs? Check out your Google Analytics and see which posts are jumping. It’s a great way to get new eyeballs on old, but still amazing, content.
Oh Wait, But There’s More
I have one more that I didn’t get to fit into the seven: talk about your products! Yes, you might have a product page or blurb but it might not give you a chance to share testimonials, the benefits in-depth, the major and minor problems it’s solving, and why readers should have it.
Okay, that’s all for now! Select 2-3 of the topics that resonate with you most and start crafting your next blog post. You got this!
Much success❤️
