The Simple Solution: Answer Your People’s Questions

Questions, questions, questions! Yes, this is by far the easiest strategy to start intentionally showing up as a resource for your audience and setting you as the go-to in your space.

By the way, you’re welcome to take a deeper dive into this strategy by reading They Ask, You Answer by Marcus Sheridan. A brilliant book about sharing compelling content that does all the things.

How to Get it Done {Your 3-Step Playbook}!

  1. Start a Google Doc and list every question you’ve ever been asked about your business, product, or service. Everything! Check your DMs, social media threads, email, text messages. Leave no stone unturned.
  2. Reach out to your top clients and ask them what are the three biggest questions they have about your industry (of course, be more specific than saying industry). Hearing directly from your people provides a wealth of content and product ideas.
  3. Create content that answers these questions…one by one. Whether your medium is Facebook, live video, blogging…whatever. Get to work answering these questions over the next 30-60 days while you’re crafting an actual digital marketing strategy.

Follow this simple playbook and you’ll be amazed at the level of engagement and the ease of creating compelling content.

Much success!
