So, here’s a quick 2-minute video that gives an outline on how to make good content.

What Makes Good Content? Your 5-Step Checklist

#1 Great Headline

The title is the first thing your people see. You’ve gotta make it catchy. Use CoSchedule’s Headline Analyzer tool to help you craft attention-grabbing titles for your blog and emails.

#2 Organize with Subheadings and Formatting

According to OptInMonster, 43% of people skim articles. Highlight your key points by using subheadings. It makes it easy for your people to digest. Also, using formatting tools like bullets and numbers breaks up the text even more.

#3 Give Crazy Value

We want to wow our audience with the value we’re sharing. Deliver! What’s something your reader can gain from you that they are unlikely to experience anywhere else? It’s important that we’re sharing information that’s intriguing and different in our free content so they’re compelled to learn more from us from our paid content.

#4 Add Pizzazz with Visuals

Images, videos, gifs, and memes keep your content fun and engaging. It also helps break it up from the endless text. Use tools like Unsplash, Canva, and Pixabay to find some amazing visuals for your content.. My personal favorite is HauteStock–its a paid service but comes with beautiful imagery for women’s brands.

#5 Call to Action (CTA)

Always end your content with a call to action. That is, what do you want your people to do next? Whether it’s to comment, join your Facebook group, or share the article, give them clear next steps based on the objectives of your piece. You see, every piece of content should have a purpose, and the CTA is wrapped in that.
